NSPS CST Exam Opportunity

  • Santiago Community College (Room U-96) 8045 E Chapman Ave Orange, CA 92869 (map)

The Practice-Based Chapter (Orange County) of CLSA working with the survey program of Santiago Canyon College has organized an NSPS CST exam opportunity.

We are providing a member of our chapter as proctor (Diane Wells, PLS) and a classroom available to the survey program as venue (U-96).

Information about and how to apply for the National Society of Professional Surveyors – Certified Survey Technician program can be found here: https://cstnsps.com/

Pricing for regular examinees will be reduced by $60 each due to the number of examinees to the same price as a student taking the exam. $120 will be the fee for any exam and payable to NSPS through the application process. There is no fee for the exam location and proctors being provided.

An entirely free online course for each levels of 1-3  is provided at http://www.learncst.com/

This is your opportunity for you or a survey technician you know to take at least the Level 1 certification or to move up the ladder if you have that already..

If you personally have an interest or would like to send a survey technician from your office, please contact me so I can track the available seats and I’ll get answers to any questions about the application process as needed. You must apply online so that a test is sent for you to the exam location. Again, please let me know when applying so I can add you to the location roster and track available seats.

Deadline for having your application complete is Oct. 4th so there is time to prepare your exam and have it sent to the proctor.
