Scholarship Night & The Future of Land Surveying (Michael Pallamary, PLS)
Last year we had quite the crowd for this meeting!
To help plan and arrange space, please be sure to RSVP.
Michael Pallamary, PLS is a staunch advocate of “economic adaptation.” His seminal paper “Measurement is Dead,” provides a sobering analysis on the future of land surveying. Mr. Pallamary will discuss innovative ways to survive in a rapidly changing economy while maintaining a healthy profit margin.
Michael Pallamary, PLS, is the president of Pallamary & Associates, a La Jolla, CA based land surveying and land use company. Mr. Pallamary has been surveying since 1971. He started his first business in 1981 when he formed Precision Survey & Mapping. Mr. Pallamary sold his 12-person firm in 2000 to a large multi-discipline firm where he managed 45 people. He returned to self-employment as a principle in 2001 when he formed PAA. Mr. Pallamary works across the State of California and he is a well-respected business person as well as a nationally renowned Land Surveyor.
