ORANGE COUNTY CHAPTER
ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

INTRODUCTION

The Orange County Chapter of the California Land Surveyors Association (OC/CLSA) holds a Student Night at our regular OC/CLSA dinner meeting each year in November. This meeting is dedicated to the advancement and future of the profession and to the recognition of outstanding students pursuing a two or four year degree in Land Surveying. Winners traveling from outside the Orange County area will be reimbursed for traveling expenses necessary (gas, lodging, etc.) to attend the awards ceremony.

Each year at this meeting, OC/CLSA and Private Surveying and Engineering firms all come together to award thousands of dollars in scholarships. Scholarships may range from $250 to $1,500. These scholarships are a great opportunity for students to receive recognition as well as assistance from the profession that they intend to enter. The meeting is also a good opportunity for students to interact with professionals and possible future employers.
